Welcome

We welcome your interest in Northern Sydney Central Coast Area Health Service (NSCCAHS) and look forward to your application for appointment.

We want to work with outstanding clinicians that will share in the provision of the best quality, safe health services to our population.

We will strive to provide you with excellent multi-disciplinary clinical and non-clinical support and a work environment which is as pleasant and uncomplicated as possible. We will also support your direct patient care, your teaching, education and research roles as may be applicable.

The NSCCAHS vision is directly linked to engagement of clinicians in leadership and governance, focus on agreed key success factors, a balanced business and key workforce strategy, and a shared value culture in the pursuit of excellence. We would like you to be involved in a work culture which is based upon mutual respect and recognition of the roles of patients, all staff, carers and other consumers in aspiring to provide the highest standards of care possible.

These are challenging times but we are continuously seeking our clinicians’ guidance on how to improve services. The recently completed Area Clinical Services Strategic Plan contains many recommendations which are being prioritised by Area Clinical Networks and your involvement as a Senior Medical Practitioner will be critical to the success of the implementation phase and into the future.
