Stroke Seminar “Strides for Stroke"

The special impact of stroke on women is one topic that will be covered at the stroke awareness seminar, "Strides for Stroke", organised by Northern Sydney Central Coast Area Health Service (NSCCH).

This seminar is a must for anybody wanting to know more about current trends in treating and preventing strokes.

Speakers include:
• Associate Professor Kate Storey, Director of the NSCCH Area Stroke Unit (equity in the care of stroke patients)
• Associate Professor Geoff Herkes, Head of Neurology at Royal North Shore Hospital (the impact of stroke on women)
• Stroke Recovery Association
• Carers’ Support Service.
