The Scientific Staff Council of Royal North Shore Hospital:

• Represents the professional interests of scientists at Royal North Shore
• Was the first Scientific Staff Council established in an Australian hospital
• Represents more than 350 scientific personnel
• Arranges meetings of general interest which are open to all staff
• Maintains a database of scientific personnel to keep in contact with all scientists
• Established a Scientific Consumers Group
• Has liaison with relevant groups including the Executives of Northern Sydney Health, individual hospitals and the Research Coordinating Committee
• Promotes scientific careers in health care

The RNS Scientific Staff Council welcomes new members. You are eligible to join if you:

• Are a graduate in science and;
• Work as a scientist at royal north shore or;
• Have been determined by the executive of scientific staff council to be eligible as a member

Remember - only financial members are eligible to apply for scholarships!
