The Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital is a major metropolitan hospital situated in Hornsby on the Upper North Shore of Sydney. It is located near the Ku-ring-gai National Park which offers some spectacular scenery and a variety of bush walking trails. The hospital is based near the F3 motor way which links Sydney with the Central Coast via a 45 minute drive. Many staff commute on the motorway from the Central Coast to work at HKH. Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Health Service provides a number of excellent services for staff. Self-rostering is practised widely in the hospital. There is a focus on flexibility and staff support. Staff are well supported by our Human Resources Department, strong commitment to continuing staff education, staff Library, Occupational Health and Safety program, flexible rosters, Rehabilitation Counsellor and Staff Counselling Service.
