The Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Oral Health Service is committed to the provision of high quality oral health care for eligible patients.

Who are we?

Both adult and child oral health services are available from the Hornsby Ku–ring–gai Oral Health Clinic.

Working within the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Oral Health Clinic is a multidisciplinary oral health team comprising dental officers, oral health therapists, hygienists, dental assistants and administrative officers.

What do we do?

General dental services are provided to eligible adult and child patients. This includes:

  • X-rays, diagnostic and preventative care
  • Fillings
  • Extractions
  • Minor oral surgery and
  • Dentures

We are unable to provide high cost services such as crowns, root canal treatments in back teeth or implants. Most treatment services are performed in public dental clinics by dental staff employed in public health. In some circumstances private dentists provide services through a voucher system. Our dental staff determines if the voucher system is used or not. The voucher system is only for specific treatments.
