Allied Health at HKHS

Our fantastic allied health staff are an important part of key patient care teams in our health service, such as ACE and ASET. They are part of multidisciplinary teams on our hospital wards, such as 1A, 1B, 2A and 2B. You can read more about allied health departments on our pages for: Audiology, Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Social Work and Speech Pathology.

Nursing at HKHS

At HKHS we are proud of our dedicated and caring nursing staff. Among our many nursing staff we have enrolled nurses, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, clinical nurse consultants, clinical nurse educators and nursing unit managers. We have a fact sheet describing these nursing roles and staff types. You can also read about some of our specialist nurses, such as the nurse practitioner and aged care liaison nurse. Or look at some information on our nursing employment page.

Clerical staff at HKHS

From Admissions to the Wards, our clerical staff play an important role in almost every department and service.

Volunteers at HKHS

Volunteers are a valued part of our services: in Community Centres, in the hospital Volunteer services and Meals on Wheels. You might like to read some general information on volunteering
